تسارع إدارة نادي النصر السعودي خطواتها لحسم ملف استمرار الدولي البرتغالي “جواو فيليكس”، رغبة منها في تأمين أحد أهم مفاتيح لعب الفريق الهجومية وقطع الطريق أمام الأنباء التي تحدثت عن احتمالية عودته إلى صفوف برشلونة الإسباني.

ووفق للإعلامي الرياضي “متعب الهزاع”، فإن العقد المبرم مع اللاعب يمتد لأربعة أعوام، مقسمة إلى موسمين أساسيين يليهما موسمان إضافيان يخضعان لبنود التفعيل المشتركة قابلين للتجديد، وفي الموسمين الجديدين وفقا للبنود يتم تعديل راتبه من 10 ملايين يورو إلى 12 مليونا، وحسب ما تأكدت منه فإن الأمور تسير بطريقة إيجابية بين اللاعب والإدارة.

وأضاف الهزاع أن الأمر يتوقف على تدبير المبلغ الذي يتم دفعه إلى ناديه السابق تشيلسي، والبالغ 20 مليون يورو لتفعيل خيار التجديد، مشيرا إلى أنه حتى في حال عدم رغبة النادي ولكن اللاعب يود الاستمرار، فإن النصر سيكون ملزما بسداد المبلغ، مؤكدا في الوقت نفسه أن الموقف يسير بإيجابية بين الطرفين.

وتأتي هذه التحركات وسط ما تداولته وسائل إعلام إسبانية بشأن رغبة وكيل اللاعب في دراسة فرص ارتداء قميص النادي الكتالوني مجددا، إلا أن إدارة النصر فضلت تفعيل البنود الحالية ورفع المقابل المالي لمنع أي محاولات خارجية، ويحظى فيليكس بمكانة بارزة داخل قلعة العالمي منذ وصوله في صيف 2025، حيث كان ركيزة أساسية في التتويج بلقب دوري روشن في عامه الأول، إلى جانب توهجه القاري مؤخرا بتسجيل هدفين وصناعة مثلهما في شباك باختاكور الأوزبكي ضمن دوري أبطال آسيا للنخبة.

The management of Saudi Arabia’s Al Nassr FC is moving swiftly to finalize the continuation of Portuguese international João Félix, aiming to secure one of the team’s key attacking playmakers and cut off rumors linking him with a potential return to Spain’s Barcelona.

According to sports journalist Mutaeb Al-Hazzaa, the contract signed with the player spans four years, structured as two core seasons followed by an optional two-year extension subject to mutual activation clauses. Under the terms for the extended two seasons, his annual salary would increase from €10 million to €12 million. Al-Hazzaa confirmed that negotiations between the player and management are progressing positively.

Al-Hazzaa added that the final step hinges on securing a €20 million payment to his former club, Chelsea, to trigger the renewal option. He noted that even if the club hesitates, if the player wishes to remain, Al Nassr will be obligated to pay the amount, reiterating that sentiment between both parties remains very positive.

These moves come amid Spanish media reports suggesting the player’s agent is exploring opportunities for a return to the Catalan club. However, Al Nassr’s management has chosen to activate the current contract clauses and increase the financial package to head off any external transfer attempts.

Félix has held a prominent role at Al Nassr since arriving in the summer of 2025. He was a key pillar in the team’s Saudi Pro League title victory in his debut season and recently shone on the continental stage, scoring two goals and providing two assists against Uzbekistan’s Pakhtakor in the AFC Champions League Elite.
