خرج الجهاز الطبي للنادي الأهلي ليوضح حقيقة الموقف الصحي للاعب الوسط أكرم توفيق، عقب خروجه متأثرًا بإصابة في مواجهة كيتارا الأوغندي، والتي أقيمت مساء الأحد ضمن منافسات بطولة كأس الكونفدرالية الإفريقية.

وأوضح الدكتور “أحمد جاب الله”، رئيس الجهاز الطبي بالفريق الأول، أن اللاعب تعرض لكدمة على مستوى العين أثناء أحداث اللقاء، مفضلًا الاطمئنان الكامل على حالته قبل استئناف التدريبات الجماعية المقبلة.

وشهدت المواجهة التي احتضنها استاد القاهرة الدولي تفوقًا كاسحًا للمارد الأحمر، حيث حسم بطاقة العبور إلى دور المجموعات بفوز عريض استقر عند أربعة أهداف دون رد في جولة الإياب، مؤكدًا أفضليته بعدما أنهى لقاء الذهاب في أوغندا لصالحه أيضًا بنتيجة هدفين مقابل هدف واحد.
