حسمت تقارير صحفية إسبانية الجدل المثار مؤخراً حول إمكانية عودة الظهير الأيمن ترينت ألكسندر أرنولد إلى صفوف ليفربول خلال نافذة الانتقالات الشتوية المقبلة، بعد تداول أنباء عن عدم ارتياحه داخل جدران سانتياجو برنابيو.

وكان الدولي الإنجليزي قد انضم إلى صفوف ريال مدريد الإسباني في صفقة انتقال حر بعقد يمتد لست سنوات حتى صيف 2031، إلا أن مسيرته مع النادي الملكي اصطدمت بتحديات فنية قلصت من ظهوره المنتظم.

ووفقاً لما أوردته صحيفة “ماركا الإسبانية، فإن إدارة ليفربول أغلقت الباب تماماً أمام فكرة استعادة لاعبها السابق، ولا تملك أي نية لفتح قنوات التفاوض معه، على الرغم من وجود اهتمام ومراقبة حثيثة من أندية إنجليزية أخرى تسعى لاستغلال وضعه الحالي في مدريد.

ويواجه الظهير البالغ من العمر 28 عاماً صعوبات في حجز مقعد أساسي داخل تشكيلة المدرب جوزيه مورينيو، مما أدى إلى تراجعه في حسابات المشاركة خلف خيارات أخرى يعتمد عليها الجهاز الفني في الجبهة اليمنى.

ورغم حالة عدم الرضا التي يشعر بها اللاعب بسبب قلة دقائق اللعب، تشير المصادر إلى أنه يضع كامل تركيزه حالياً في التدريبات اليومية، ويسعى جاهداً لإثبات قدراته وإقناع مدربه بهدف استعادة موقعه في التشكيل الأساسي وتغيير وضعه الحالي داخل الفريق.

Spanish press reports have settled the recent controversy over the possibility of right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold returning to Liverpool during the upcoming winter transfer window, after news circulated about his discomfort within the walls of the Santiago Bernabeu.
