The dressing room of Al Ahly Club witnessed a very charged atmosphere after the final whistle of the channel confrontation, which ended in a dramatic draw with three goals for each team at the Cairo International Stadium, for the seventh round of the Egyptian Premier League competitions.
According to the newspaper “The Seventh Day”, Moroccan coach Hussein Amouta exploded with anger in the face of his players inside the locker rooms immediately after the end of the meeting, expressing his deep dissatisfaction with the sharp decline in technical performance and defensive dysfunction that cost the team to lose two precious points in the process of preserving the title, despite realizing a draw in the last meters of the confrontation.
The sources confirmed that the technical director made direct and harsh criticism of three elements with their own eyes, who held them largely responsible, led by right-back Mohammed Hani, the heart of Defense Yassin Merhi, in addition to midfielder Imam Ashour, pointing out that their tactical lapses and poor concentration caused the reception of goals and loss of control over the course of play.
The attempts of the members of the auxiliary staff were unsuccessful in calming the revolt of the Moroccan coach, who showed signs of shock from losing the win to a rival suffering in the middle of the ranking table, and this result puts the team and his technical staff under mounting public pressure, amid immediate demands to correct the course and fill the obvious gaps before the competition intensifies in the coming rounds.
