وشهد المران الختامي مغادرة اللاعب لأرضية الملعب بعد تعرضه لالتواء في الكاحل أثناء التقسيمة الفنية، وهو ما دفع طبيب الفريق الدكتور أحمد جاب الله للتدخل السريع وإجراء فحص مبدئي أكد وجود جزع خفيف، فضل على إثره الجهاز الطبي إراحة المدافع تجنبًا لتفاقم الإصابة.

ومن المقرر أن يخضع اللاعب لاختبار طبي دقيق صباح الغد لتحديد قدرته على الانضمام للقائمة النهائية من عدمها، وسط مؤشرات قوية ترجح غيابه عن اللقاء لمنحه الوقت الكافي للتعافي، في وقت يضع فيه الجهاز الفني اللمسات الأخيرة على خياراته البديلة لتعويض أي نقص في الخط الخلفي قبل دخول المعسكر المغلق باستاد القاهرة.

The player is scheduled to undergo a thorough medical examination tomorrow morning to determine his ability to join the final list or not, amid strong indications suggesting his absence from the match to give him enough time to recover. Meanwhile, the coaching staff is putting the finishing touches on their alternative options to compensate for any deficiency in the backline before entering the closed camp at Cairo Stadium.
