The Portuguese star “Cristiano Ronaldo”, the captain of the Saudi club Al-Nasr, was keen to send a strong message of support to the Georgian |khvica Kvaratskhelia| Paris Saint-Germain player, after the strong injury he suffered during the confrontation with Barcelona in the Champions League.
Kvaratskhelia suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament of his right knee during Paris Saint-Germain’s 4-2 victory over Barcelona, an injury that the Parisian club confirmed would require him to undergo surgery in the next few days, without specifying a date for his return, amid expectations of an early end to his season.
Ronaldo did not hesitate to support the Georgian star, writing a touching comment to him on his post via his official Instagram account, and said in his message: “the most difficult fights in football are often those that no one sees. I know this feeling, infidels, but never forget what got you to where you are today, and don’t let a difficult moment make you doubt how far you can reach, keep that spirit burning inside you, your best is still to come, in words that carried a lot of encouragement for a player who is preparing for a long treatment and rehabilitation journey before returning to the stadiums.
