بادر الأرجنتيني “جوليان ألفاريز”، نجم خط هجوم أتلتيكو مدريد، بتقديم اعتذار صريح لجماهير ناديه في محاولة لإنهاء حالة الجدل والتوتر التي طفت على السطح خلال الصيف، بعدما ألمح في وقت سابق إلى رغبته في الانتقال لصفوف برشلونة.

وجاءت خطوة المهاجم الأرجنتيني مباشرة عقب توقيعه على هدفه الأول هذا الموسم فوق عشب ملعب سيفيتاس متروبوليتانو، في اللقاء الذي جمع الروخيبلانكوس بفريق ديبورتيفو لاكورونيا ضمن منافسات الليغا الإسبانية، لتكون بمثابة رسالة مصالحة مع أنصار الفريق.

وأشار مهاجم الألبيسيليستي إلى أن تفكيره الحالي يتجه كليًا نحو تطوير مستواه البدني والفني ومساعدة المجموعة، مثمنًا دور زملائه في غرفة تبديل الملابس الذين ساندوه لتخطي الضغوط واستعادة شغفه داخل الملعب.

وأختتم ألفاريز رسالته بالتشديد على طموحه في تحويل صافرات الغضب والاستهجان إلى تحية وهتاف، مؤكدًا أن العطاء المضاعف داخل المستطيل الأخضر والالتزام التام بشعار الروخيبلانكوس هما طريقه الوحيد لإعادة بناء جسور الثقة مع مدرجات المتروبوليتانو.
