FC Barcelona achieved an exceptional financial leap during the recent El Clásico match against their traditional rival Real Madrid, as ticket sales at Spotify Camp Nou recorded a historic milestone that boosted the Catalan club’s coffers, breaking all previous records in the history of the encounters between the two teams.
According to the Spanish newspaper “Mundo Deportivo,” the total ticket revenue for this summit alone exceeded (19.1 million euros), surpassing the previous record set last May by a significant margin, despite the fact that the attendance was relatively lower than the last match, with the stands hosting more than (60,000 fans).
This significant financial boom is attributed to the new pricing strategy adopted by the club, along with the expansion of luxury hospitality packages. The details of the numbers and prices are as follows:
This economic recovery did not stop at the entrance gates alone, but extended to the club’s official stores, where sales at the Spotify Camp Nou store broke the 800,000 euro barrier for the first time over two consecutive days. Additionally, promotional products designed in partnership with rapper Tyler, the Creator topped the sales list among all previous artistic collaborations of the Catalan club, both in its physical stores and through online sales platforms.
These gains are just the beginning of what awaits the Blaugrana in the future, as projections indicate that these revenues will double with the completion of the comprehensive expansion of the Camp Nou stadium, which will increase its capacity to 104,600 seats, with the share of luxury and VIP seats rising to 9,500 instead of the 5,000 currently available.
