بات الاتحاد الأرجنتيني لكرة القدم على بعد خطوات قليلة من إغلاق ملف تجديد عقد المدير الفني للمنتخب “ليونيل سكالوني” في ظل تقدم ملموس وتفاهمات إيجابية حسمت معظم التفاصيل المعلقة بين الطرفين خلال الساعات الأخيرة، وسيكون الإعلان الرسمي خلال فترة التوقف الدولي المقررة في شهر نوفمبر، بالتزامن مع استعداد راقصي التانجو لخوض مباراتين وديتين أمام منتخبي أوروجواي وكوستاريكا.

وبحسب ما أوردته شبكة “تي واي سي سبورتس” الأرجنتينية فإن الاتفاق الجديد يقضي باستمرار سكالوني في منصبه لعامين إضافيين حتى نهاية بطولة كوبا أمريكا 2028، مع إدراج بند يتيح تمديد الارتباط بصورة شبه تلقائية لعامين آخرين وصولا إلى كأس العالم 2030.

ويفتح هذا الخيار الباب أمام سكالوني لتحقيق إنجاز غير مسبوق بقيادة الأرجنتين في ثلاث نسخ متتالية من نهائيات كأس العالم، وهذا يعني وصول المدرب إلى حاجز الـ10 سنوات على رأس القيادة الفنية بحلول عام 2028، وهي المسيرة التي انطلقت بصفة مؤقتة في خريف عام 2018 وتحولت إلى حقبة ذهبية شهدت التتويج بلقبين في كوبا أمريكا، بالإضافة إلى لقبي فيناليسيما ومونديال قطر.

وعلى صعيد الطاقم المعاون، يضع الاتحاد الأرجنتيني الحفاظ على الهيكل الفني المساعد أولوية قصوى لضمان استمرارية النجاح ذاته، بينما تبذل الإدارة محاولات مكثفة لحسم موقف والتر صامويل بالبقاء، نظرا لثقله الفني ودوره البارز داخل المنظومة التدريبية لسكالوني طوال الأعوام الماضية.

At the level of the assistant staff, the Argentine Federation places the maintenance of the assistant technical structure as a top priority to ensure the continuity of the same success, while the management is making intensive attempts to resolve the position of Walter Samuel to stay, given his technical weight and prominent role within the Scaloni training system over the past years.
